Account Setup

Step #1: Sign Up for Service

To initiate the ordering process, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Complete the order form

    Please print and complete the order form for the Communications Package OR Web Presence Package (PDF) and/or the Dedicated Request for Quote (PDF).

    Feel free to contact the Not-for-Profit Support Team (NFPSupport@merit.edu or 734-615-6110) if you have questions or need additional information.

  2. Prepare a method of payment

    Prepare a Purchase Order or a Letter of Commitment to cover the cost of the service you've selected. To assist you, here is a Sample Purchase Order (PDF) and a Sample Letter of Commitment (PDF).

    The first year cost for the Communications Package is $56.25 per month ($675/year). The Web Presence Package is only $62.50 per month ($750/year). Both packages have a one time setup fee of $300.

    The Michigan Townships Online contract is renewable for a one-year term each October 1. Service initiated before October 1 will be billed on a prorated basis.

    Quotes for Dedicated Service will be provided by the Not-for-Profit Support Team.

  3. Send these documents to Merit Network, Inc.

    You may FAX these documents to Merit at 734-647-3185 to initiate service, but you must also mail the originals to Merit at this address:

  4. The Not-for-Profit Support Team will contact you

    The Not-for-Profit Support Team will contact you to introduce themselves, answer any additional questions you might have, discuss timelines for activating the service, and, ultimately, to provide access to your new accounts and website!
